TITAN – Transformative and resilient networks in the aviation industry
TITAN develops an integrated framework enabling Swedish aerospace to achieve both supply chain resilience and net-zero emissions by 2040. The 12-month study defines sustainability–resilience criteria, maps current operations and stakeholder dependencies with GKN Aerospace, and delivers a validated framework for supply chain transformation. Key outputs include current state and stakeholder analysis, an assessment framework tested with industry partners, and identification of opportunities for internalised manufacturing. The framework evaluates capabilities across pre-, during, and post-disruption phases while ensuring aerospace circularity. Results support strategic decision-making for circular manufacturing, aligning with Sweden’s fossil-free energy goals while safeguarding operational excellence under supply chain disruptions.
