What a fantastic year we got!

2025 has been intense, but incredibly rewarding. We can report that during our first two years, we have financed around 100 exciting and relevant projects approved by Vinnova and the Swedish Energy Agency – a fantastic result that demonstrates the power of the system. We now see great opportunities to take the next step towards our shared mission: a competitive and resilient manufacturing industry with net zero emissions by 2040.

During the year, we have established ourselves as an Impact Programme, our core process is clear, and the programme office is developing to ensure we have the right skills, including Linnea Kvist joining us as our new communications manager. 2026 will be the year when we deepen the dialogue with the entire manufacturing ecosystem. Our steering group has made strategic decisions to work with dialogue forums, the Net Zero Forum and an industrial strategy council to create the right conditions for the transition. You can find updated information on how we plan to move forward on our website – feel free to take a look!

We have also placed great emphasis on programme analysis and governance. Our three main challenges are greenhouse gas emissions, resource efficiency and resilience. Next year, we will launch our first Manufacturing Outlook, which will provide us with shared knowledge about where the biggest obstacles lie. We are already seeing a reduction in production-based emissions, but Scope 3 emissions remain a major challenge. We believe that the programme can make a real difference here – for example, by increasing the focus on the value chain through design, materials and new business models. With increased knowledge of the challenges, our mission is to enable the levers that ensure that our efforts take us towards our mission – here we can make a real difference together.

Thank you so much for all the rewarding conversations and projects during the year! Now we are taking a well-deserved break and look forward to continuing the journey together in 2026.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
