RESURF – Resource-Efficient Functional Surfaces

Current role and organisation – and planned mobility placement:
Dr. Johan Fast Berglund is a researcher at RISE, and this mobility project is a collaboration with Volvo Cars with host Dr. Ola Wagersten, technical specialist. The long-term purpose is to enable greater use of recycled polymer materials and enhance communication and efficiency in development and manufacturing. The collaboration consists of three parts:

1. Competence development for Volvo Cars staff.

2. Mapping and description of current state at Volvo Cars. Focus on potential improvements to enable reduced resource use and increased resilience.

3. Formulation of a plan for continued long-term collaboration.

The expected outcome is increased competence in both organisations and a plan for long-term collaboration.
