Sofia Wieselfors becomes new programme manager for Net Zero Industry

On 1 March 2025, Sofia Wieselfors will take up the role of Programme Manager for the Impact Innovation programme Net Zero Industry, taking over from the current Programme Manager Mats Lundin.
The Net Zero Industry innovation programme started up in the spring of 2024 under the leadership of Acting Programme Manager Mats Lundin. During the first year, the programme’s strategic mission has been shaped and the programme office has been staffed with some 15 experts in a number of strategically important areas.
On 1 March, Sofia Wieselfors will take over the role of Programme Director and will continue to develop the work that has been done initially. Sofia comes most recently from the role of Programme Manager for FFI, Vehicle Strategic Research and Innovation, at Vinnova. She has a broad experience in the transport field and has led various development and strategy work at both the Swedish Transport Administration’s headquarters and the Ministry of Enterprise and Infrastructure.
– I’m really looking forward to continuing the work that started in 2024. Net Zero Industry is a programme of crucial importance for a competitive industry that meets the climate goals. It feels very exciting to continue to develop an Impact programme together with the entire programme office, where new working methods and broad collaborations are in focus,’ says Sofia Wieselfors.
– Sofia’s experience and background match very well with Net Zero Industry’s mission and the work the programme wants to do in the future. ‘Achieving the mission requires new collaborations in different constellations, and here Sofia will be able to take over the work done so far under the leadership of Mats. Together with all the expertise that already exists in the programme office, we look forward to accelerating the manufacturing industry towards net zero emissions, says Maria Rosendahl, Head of Industrial Policy at Teknikföretagen.
Mats Lundin will continue in his role until Sofia takes over and during an overlapping period.
Welcome Sofia on our journey for a net-zero manufacturing industry!
