Seminar: How ready is Swedish industry for net zero?
On 3 November, Net Zero Industry will launch a new report exploring how Swedish manufacturing companies view the path to net zero. How high a priority is the transition to net zero, and to what extent is it seen as a competitive advantage? Join us for a seminar where we will present the findings and discuss what is needed to accelerate the transition.
In recent years, Swedish manufacturing industry has succeeded in combining economic growth with reduced emissions. But reaching net zero will require the transition to accelerate.
In a new report, Net Zero Industry examines how well prepared companies are for the next stage of the transition. How ambitious are their targets? How is the work towards net zero reflected in corporate governance, skills and tools? What opportunities and barriers do companies see? And what role do policy and regulation play in shaping their ability to make the transition?
During the seminar, Jonas Hellman, Senior Adviser at Geelmuyden Kiese, will present the report’s key findings. This will be followed by a discussion on what the findings mean for the continued transition and competitiveness of Swedish industry, featuring:
