The Material Shift: smarter materials for a more resilient industry
As climate demands, geopolitics, electrification and resource scarcity reshape industrial priorities, materials are becoming an increasingly strategic issue. Developing new materials is only part of the challenge. They also need to be scalable, certifiable and recyclable – and ready to work within existing industrial value chains.
On 1 September, Tech Forward is hosting a panel discussion on the journey from materials innovation to industrial application – and what it will take for Sweden to translate its strengths in materials innovation into greater industrial competitiveness. Net Zero Industry will be represented by Cecilia Ramberg, Deputy Programme Director and Head of Calls, who will join the panel alongside representatives from Volvo Cars, SKF, CelluXtreme and 2D fab, among others.
The discussion will be held in Swedish at Storgatan 5, Stockholm, followed by after-work drinks and networking.
